Lehigh Valley Legends Sign Legendary East Conference Player Anthony Moe
Professional Basketball Team Executives begin Finalizing Team Roster ahead of Season Opener on March 10, 2023.
ALLENTOWN, PA – January 23, 2023 – The Lehigh Valley Legends, a professional basketball organization dedicated to fostering talent and skillset at a local level, announce latest player to make their roster for the 2023 season.
The Basketball League (TBL) and Lehigh Valley Legends welcome Guyana native and local high school and college phenom player Anthony Moe. Anthony played for Souderton High School in Telford, Pa before joining Division II powerhouse Millersville University. The 6’9” power forward and center is best known for helping Guyana win the FIBA International Cup Championship and TBL’s Albany Patroons bring home the win in 2019 with an East Conference Title.
“The Basketball League encourages the success of our youth and young adults on and off the court. I like the direction that the organization is going and with the Lehigh Valley Legends being one of TBL’s newest teams to join the league, I am excited to continue to grow with them,” explains Legends new center and power forward, Anthony Moe, while signing contract and posing for photographs with TBL’s James Steward.
Former East Stroudsburg University player and current Legends Head Coach Antwan Dobie continues, “I’m excited to work with TBL and the Lehigh Valley Legends. We represent an integral part of this community, inspiring the next generation of athletes and Anthony Moe exemplifies the professional basketball experience.”
Moe currently averages 17 points, 8 rebounds and nearly 2 blocks per game. His foul shot percentage is 75%. RawSportsFilms has noted of Moe, “At 6′ 10″ Anthony can do it all, deadly three-point shooter, great finisher, plays above the rim, great defender and shot blocker, great post presence, and he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rack.”
Lehigh Valley Legends is led by a hands-on executive team consisting of President & CEO James Steward; Michael Johnson, Business Development; Danielle Bynum, Head of Marketing; Marc Sanchez, Director of Technology; and Community Relations Manager, Sherri Weber. Lehigh Valley Legends season opener against the Syracuse Stallions will be played at the organization’s new home court, The Kirby Sports Center at Lafayette College on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $7 – $13.
